Almost as BLUE as Joni Mitchell’s 1971 song/album by the same name, but not quite, is the Indigo Bunting. It’s spring migration and what a great way to launch the new blog. The first tropical migrant this year was a male Summer Tanager who showed up calling for a mate and staking out his territory.
